The Genius SW-T2.1 1800 Stylish Touch 3-piece Speaker System (Retail $159) provides 50 watts of clear, rich sound that includes a 30 watt 6” subwoofer for deep and powerful bass, and dual 10 watt 2” satellite speakers for crisp and clear sound. Its touch panel lets you easily control its functions, plus one of the satellite speakers has convenient plugs for auxiliary input and headphones. The system utilizes DRD True 3D sound with precise echo phase control and technique, which reduces the discordance of speakers. DRD makes the audio very clear, provides a dynamic range of speakers as wide as possible, and delivers super low bass and upper high trebles very pure, with lively vocals and beautiful chorus harmonies.
The SW-T2.1 1800 changes the way you control functions. Touch the volume or bass, and slide your finger over the slider bar, and you can adjust the level of these functions. A touch of the finger quickly mutes the system. Also the SW-T2.1 1800 has an embedded 5 set equalizer so you can choose between Flat/Rock/Pop/Classic/Jazz. The output power total of 50 watts and the stylish shape and sleek control surface create an elegant speaker system. This system is a great fit for your home studio, mp3 player or PC.
Of course, all the specifications and design features in the world does not make a good speaker system unless they are combined to produce optimum performance. As I am writing this review, I am listening to a live performance recording on these speakers and the sound is incredibly good. With its spatial qualities, you get a real sense that you are at the live concert. In fact, it is good enough that this speaker system has just replaced my older Bose desktop speaker system, making this a true Editors’ Choice.
