The PanTouch Digital Photo Frame (Retail $169.99 for 8” model) from Pandigital makes displaying your digital pictures easy, fun, and interactive. With the revolutionary touch frame, you no longer need to hunt for a remote if you want to change your photo display. Not only does the PanTouch display photos, but it plays videos and music as well. It is an all-in-one, user-friendly frame that will compliment your home and your multi-media files. You can transfer your files 2 ways, by inserting a memory card (a variety of types are compatible) or by connecting to a computer via USB cable or Wi-Fi/Bluetooth. The frame has a moderately sized internal memory (512 MB) to which you can copy your files, so a memory card is not a necessity. However, the frame will also play files directly from a card, in case you wish to display more than the internal memory will hold. When you copy to the internal memory, you can either copy the file at its original size, or format it to take up less space inside the frame. Display your photos in single view or as a slideshow. It is very easy to choose which files to add to customize your slideshow. You can choose them individually or in groups. Choose transition effects, slide change timing, and even music to accompany your display. You can also play you video clips on here too! The buttons on the touch screen are hidden within the matte board area on the upper right hand corner. This unobtrusive positioning is perfect for changing your photo display without blocking the viewing area. The frame itself is stylish, and can be either hung on the wall or set on a table or shelf, as long as it is near an electrical wall outlet to plug in the power cord. The PanTouch comes in 7.0”, 8.0”, and 10.4” models. I have to say that sometimes I’ve been unimpressed with digital photo frames, but not with this one. Pandigital got it right with the PanTouch.
