The foam padding and support inside this bag ensures your laptop will rest safely away from any on-the-go hazards. The fabric is also water resistant and very durable. Inside, the multitude of convenient accessory pockets are lined with micro-suede to prevent scratches. The A7 Sleeve (Retail $29.99) has a neoprene shell with a water resistant tarpaulin edging, along with a heavily padded lining, perfect for slim lined protection. This sleeve is great for when you just want to grab your laptop and run, or you can use it for extra protection inside another larger case. The Chill Mat laptop cooler (Retail $39.99) is the best cooler I have tried. Why? Because you can actually use it on your lap! So many coolers require you to rest them on a flat surface, like a table, in order to keep the fans free for air flow. That kind of defeats the purpose of a laptop in my mind. I want to be able to use my laptop, on my lap, without burning my legs. Well, simple solution: build the flat surface into the cooler. The Chill Mat has an ergonomic wedge shape, the larger part of the wedge pointed to the back of the laptop, and the sides open for air flow. The dual fans are housed inside this wedge, pulling the heat from the laptop and dispersing it out the open sides. The fans are powered by plugging the cooler into a USB slot, and run almost silently. The top surface of the wedge is an attractive brushed plastic, with lots of small holes leading through to the fans, and flexible rubber feet to support your laptop slightly above the surface. The rest of the wedge is covered with a soft neoprene padding to make extended lap use nice and comfy. The whole thing is made of light weight material, so you don’t feel like you’re carting a small desk around with you.
