When we received the press release about the Travel Table™ (Retail $40), from DEVO Products, I must admit I was a bit skeptical. After testing the Travel Table, I am now sold on the simplicity and functionality of this practical, common sense, “why didn’t I think of this,” product. The Travel Table is brilliantly designed with the business traveler in mind, whether a frequent flier in the 100,000 mile club or a once-a-month traveler who takes quick shuttles between two near-by cities. This easy-to use, light-weight folding table, which attaches to the pull-up handle on your luggage, helps make the airline terminal wait a positive and productive experience as you place your laptop securely and comfortably on the Travel Table. Using your adjustable luggage handle, you can position the Travel Table for a comfortable height, whether you are sitting or standing, to create a work surface that lets you easily complete work on your personal computer. Since different sets of luggage have handles that extend at different angles, The Travel Table allows you to adjust its angle to ensure a flat, horizontal surface. The Travel Table is also a great product for non-business travelers and can be used to eliminate the lap balancing acts of eating your lunch, keeping baby bottles off the floor, watching movies on your portable DVD player, and so many other things we all do at airports. The Travel Table™ was designed to hold a maximum weight of 15 lbs and a maximum width of 15 inches. It was not designed for someone to have a surface on which to lean, sit, press or otherwise place their body weight.
To use the Travel Table™, you simply place your suitcase in a stable, upright position with the pull-behind handle locked securely in the upright position. You then remove the Travel Table from your briefcase or carry-on,
flip up the hooks and pins,
hook the Travel Table on to your upright luggage handle,
lock the pins into place, and adjust the VELCRO® brand fasteners to allow the bottom supports to provide a flat, level table surface.
In a few seconds, you will have a stable surface for all of your 15 pound, and under, needs.
